Spring Flowers Smoothie Bowl

Happy Spring everyone! Even though it is still chilly and the snow is only beginning to melt, I am dreaming of sunny days, freshly bloomed flowers, and sundresses. This morning's smoothie bowl is a pretty close representation of these thoughts with it's cutely cut out fruit flowers decorating it's refreshing and creamy pineapple banana base. Whip up this delicious Springtime favorite and don't forget your spoon!

Serves: one bowl

Ingredients:

Smoothie Bowl:

  • 1/2 cup sliced frozen banana

  • 1/2 cup frozen pineapple chunks

  • 1/8-1/4 cup dairy free milk

Toppings:

Directions:

1. Add the frozen pineapple and banana to a food processor, in increments, followed by the dairy free milk. Blend on a high speed until the chunks turn into a smooth and creamy consistency. (You can add more milk to create a less ice creamy consistency for a more liquid smoothie bowl.)

2. Serve topped with fresh fruit and granola for that extra crunch!
