Strawberry Burst Oatmeal


  • 1/2 cup rolled oats

  • 1 cup dairy free milk

Strawberry sauce:

  • 1 pint of fresh strawberries

  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar


  1. To make the strawberry sauce, dice and core the strawberries. Add to a sauce pot on medium heat. Add sugar once the strawberries begin to melt slightly. Let the strawberries simmer until they reach a thick liquid consistency. Remove from the heat and store in an airtight jar.

  2. To make the oats, bring a pot with the dairy free milk to a boil and add in the oats. Reduce to a low simmer and cook until the oats reach the desired texture.

  3. To serve, add the strawberry sauce into the bowl of oatmeal, mix together and top with fresh strawberries.
