Dehydrated Mangos

Hello everybody!

I finally have a new blog post for you guys; thank you so much for being patient with me. I've been finishing up this spring semester of college and helping volunteer at the international chocolate awards with my nutrition professor. I also had my two jobs to keep up with which is why my social life had been put on hold for a hot second.

Regardless, I have a new recipe for you to try out! It's.....wait for it...DEHYDRATED MANGOS. I have been wanting to make my own fried mangos for a while now. Now that I have, I'm addicted!

Ingredients:

  • 3-4 ripe mangos

  • a dessert cooling rack or silicon baking sheet

  • non-stock spray

Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 185 degrees F.

  2. Slice the mangos very thinly (almost into strips) and lay them out onto the cooling rack or silicon sheet. Be sure to spray the rack with non stock spray before hand. I prefer using the rack because I find the mangos dehydrate quicker if situated on the top and bottom.

  3. Bake in the oven for 2-3 hours or until the mangos reach your desired texture.

Enjoy!! -Nicole.
